Autodial dial-up connection

• Open Network and sharing center from control panel.
• Open Manage internet connections options.
• Right click on your current dial-up connection & click on properties –> options.
• Un-check all dialing option boxes and click on OK.
• Right click the dial-up connection and create shortcut on the desktop.
• Add this shortcut to the start-up folder.
• Similarly add your browser shortcut in the same folder.
• Restart the PC or Laptop to see if this works.

How to convert youtube videos to mp3

• Open http://www.youtube.com
• Open the video of which you want to convert it to mp3.
• Copy the URL of the video.
• Open http://us.onlinevideoconverter.com and click on the to mp3 button.
• Paste the copied URL of the youtube video in the box & click the blue arrow button.
• Click the format & then click on the blue arrow button.
• Wait for the file download (this will depend on your internet speed)
• Click on the (save as) blue arrow button & click the save button.
• Mp3 file will be saved on your laptop or pc.

How to get rid of laptop ants

1. Switch off your laptop.
2. Remove all power connections of your laptop.
3. Place your laptop up side down.
4. Try to get a cockroach or pest line chalk and draw a line on the bottom edges of your laptop. It will look like a white rectangle box line when completed. Put some chalk line also on the power cable part that connects to the laptop.
5. Ants will never come back near your laptop.
6. Care should be taken to not swallow the chalk. Use surgical gloves for extra precaution.
7. Last but not the least, avoid having snacks and cola near the laptop.

Cleaning laptops heat sink without opening it

1. First disconnect power supply from your laptop. Make sure that the heat sink is not very hot.
2. Get yourself a digital camera pump blower. Yes! that little rubber pump blower.
3. Place your laptop upside down.
4. Insert blower nose/tip near the heat sink vents & pump. Do this for all vents (openings).
5. Repeat step 3 for cleaning or blowing the dust out from the fan vent too.
6. You should see puff of dust flying out through other vents.
7. Your laptop heat sink should be clean by now.
8. Do the same procedure for the cpy fan grill.
8. You should notice the difference in heat levels within a week’s usage.
